A EURO with 13 host cities The outcome was the presentation of a concrete proposal to UEFA's Executive Committee in December 2012 and the idea of a pan-European EURO 2020 became a reality. To be a true European experience, it was essential for the tournament to be staged from North to South, and East to West.

UEFA EURO 2020 presented us a huge challenge: a tournament to take place ... that connects every city landmark to our logo, and an isometric city landscape.

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2020 or simply Euro 2020, will be the 16th edition.
